A Christmas Carol

By far the most accurate and frightening depiction of Jacob Marley's ghost, as described by Charles Dickens in his classic story A Christmas Carol, is contained in the 1971 animated adaptation below. It is directed by none other than Chuck Jones, who also directed other animated classics of my childhood, such as Tom & Jerry, Rikki Tikki Tavi, How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, and many Warner Bros. cartoons.
